When it comes to email, there’s nothing Paul’s more passionate about, than delivering the best possible experience a subscriber can enjoy through their email client.
This has led him to challenge long-accepted methods of email design and development, and introduce innovative techniques, to make email more accessible and subscriber-friendly.
HTML typography is his tool of choice in delivering this, a subject on which he’s written about in net magazine, his email newsletter Type E:, and has spoken about at events such as The Email Design Conference, hosted by Litmus, in 2014 and 2015.
Earlier this year, he put some of those typographic techniques into his first book, ‘A Type of Email: A handbook for working with HTML typography in email’, which has inspired and informed email designers and developers alike, all around the world.

Jonathan is an email developer at Nest where he and the team focus on making simple, human, and delightful things. This includes building interactive emails to provide a unique and enhanced email experience to their users. Working closely with designers, developers, and test engineers through a defined workflow and framework, they are able to shift the focus from the product to the user. This in turn allows for research, and client testing for the purpose of pushing the envelope and leveraging what is possible in email with today’s web technologies.

Sue has been quoted in publications such as Digiday and Internet Retailer and has spoken as a panelist, moderator and case study presenter at the Email Insider Summit, Mobile Moments SF. Lori is a skilled marketer with over 15 years of experience in all facets of direct marketing from traditional channels such as direct mail and telemarketing to digital acquisition. David launched The Relevancy Group in January 2010, shortly after David left his role as Vice President and Principal Analyst at Forrester Research.
